First, the island. Next, the world.

Massachusetts pilot Aaron Knight posted an aerial video to Facebook Sunday of hundreds of seals currently occupying Cape Cod's Monomoy Island — and ostensibly plotting their global takeover.

Seals — even groups of them — aren't an uncommon sight around Cape Cod, but Knight told the Boston Globe that he's never seen so many in one place. We are interpreting this as evidence of the impending seal coup, and encourage everyone to have a plan for when it finally comes to pass.

And no, we're not sure exactly how many seals are on this beach. But since Knight jokingly counted "18 trillion," we're going to go with that.

Knight also described the seal horde as "miles and miles of continuous blubber."

Sounds like a pretty cute takeover.
