What do Lorde and Pastor Joel Osteen have in common?

Not much at all, if we're being honest, but the two were roped in a hilarious holiday prank thanks to some witty parenting.

Twitter user Jorji Kellogg shared a present on social media of a card from her parents and a ticket to see none other than megachurch superstar Joel Osteen. The catch? She had asked for Lorde tickets, not an experience with the Lord (you know, the one from the Bible).

"Dad and I are so proud and happy that you want to grow your faith and spend time with the Lord!" the card read. "Enjoy Pastor Joel Osteen at the Spirit Center!"

The tweet got 100,000 favorites and thousands of likes but Jorji's mother, Regina, set the record straight on her own account and clarified that it was all in good fun. "People do know this was a prank, right?" she tweeted.

If you're worried at all for Jorji, know that she is definitely going to be seeing Lorde, despite the amazing prank. Maybe next year, she can snag this candle as a present to really round things out.
