Loud upstairs neighbors have hilarious response to nasty letter

The war between the loud neighbors upstairs and the easily disturbed neighbors downstairs continues.

If you've ever had the pleasure of living below another apartment you know how loud simple things like walking across the floor can sound. Hardwood floors have the ability to make a chair being moved sound like a backyard wrestling match.

Twitter user morgxmarie had a little issue with some of her upstairs neighbors in her dorm recently, so she and her roommates decided to confront them with a pretty nasty letter.

Dear assholes,

Why are you so loud after 9 pm every day? Are you fucking sumo wrestlers, or do you possibly have lead fucking feet? Y'all are really wild as hell. It was funny @ first, but now you're just annoying! Please calm the fuck down.

Have an excellent night.

P.S. If you're selling tickets to the 2 a.m. basketball game let us know.

While annoying neighbors can bring out the worst in people, the note was maybe a little harsh. But the neighbors had a good attitude about the whole thing and decided to print up some fake tickets for the 2 a.m. basketball game referenced in the note.

"It's game time," the note reads. That was just practice last night.

The tickets are for the "Asshole Basketball Championchip" where the "2nd Floor Bitches" will face off against the "3rd Floor Lead Foot Assholes."

Morgxmarie tweeted photos of the interaction, which has since racked up over 28,000 retweets.

Some loved the obvious misspelling of "championship."

While others shared their pain of having noisy upstairs neighbors.

Mashable has reached out to morgxmarie for additional details and comments. We'll update this post if we hear back.
