Netflix's Love is Blind reunion now won't be going live tonight as originally planned, and will instead be a prerecorded special uploaded at a later date.

The live Love is Blind special was meant to begin airing at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET, bringing back the contestants to rehash their time looking for love on the dating show. However, this start time came and went without any sign of the livestream.

Netflix's official Twitter account then posted that the Love is Blind special would start in 15 minutes and promised it would be worth the wait. Unfortunately that didn't happen either, and fans will now have to wait significantly longer to see the reunion.

"We're filming it now and we'll have it on Netflix as soon as humanly possible. Again, thank you and sorry."

Netflix's apology came an hour and a half after the Love is Blind reunion special had been scheduled to start. A second update was posted almost six hours after the initially planned airtime, announcing that the recorded Love is Blind special will be made available to stream globally on Apr. 17 at 12 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. ET.

Reality show fans are already passing the time by revelling in the drama.

UPDATE: Apr. 17, 2023, 4:03 p.m. AEST This article has been updated to add Netflix's announcement regarding when the recorded special will be released.
