This reality dating show is so popular a guy redecorated his house to celebrate it

A+ effort.

In case you somehow managed to miss the news, Love Island is back.

For anyone who hasn't heard of it, the record-breakingly popular ITV show is essentially a British reality dating series in which a bunch of outrageously chiselled people stay in a villa together and couple off.

It sounds simple -- fairly similar to a bunch of other shows, even -- but that didn't stop an average of 2.95 million people tuning in for the first episode of the new series on Monday.

Oh, and if you need further proof of just how dedicated a following the show has, just take a look at the surprise this husband put on for his wife to celebrate its launch:

That is some A+ husbanding, right there.

Let's go in for a close-up on those...

It didn't stop there, either.

Nina Gibson's tweet has now been shared well over a thousand times, and received hundreds of responses.

This one, from the official Love Island Twitter account, probably sums it up best.

Outstanding work, Mr Gibson.
