Lucid teases premium electric SUV at its first reveal event
But wait, there's more.
At Lucid's reveal event Wednesday night, the new Air luxury electric sedan was introduced for the first time. But already the California EV maker is looking ahead to its next car: Project Gravity.
While the first versions of the $169,000 Air will start to arrive next year, Lucid is planning production for a luxury, all-electric SUV.

At the end of the Air event, CEO Peter Rawlinson lifted a black cloth to reveal a bigger, boxier vehicle compared to the shots of the Air flashing on-screen for the previous 45 minutes. A quick video showed the SUV driving off into the sunset with what looked like a roof rack for outdoor adventuring.
"This is just the beginning," Rawlinson said, hinting at a lineup of products beyond the Air coming out in the next 10 years.

We expect to hear more about Lucid's second car soon. For now the website just says, "There's clearly more to come."
