Surprise! Netflix releases first 'Luke Cage' teaser in an unexpected way
LOS ANGELES -- Surprise: Netflix "made ya look."
The streaming giant unveiled its first teaser of its upcoming Luke Cage Marvel series on Friday. But it wasn't posted on YouTube, Twitter, or any other social media platform.
Instead, Netflix uploaded the teaser somewhere closer to home: Its very own platform. It sneakily pops up at the end of season two of Daredevil.

The new series will follow comic book hero-for-hire Luke Cage (Mike Colter), a Marvel character known for his strength and gang-busting. It co-stars Mahershala Ali, Alfe Woodard, Simone Missick, Theo Rossi and Frank Whaley.
The 24-second Netflix teaser shows Cage in a gym as he stands off against a group of armed criminals.
"I guess you guys haven't heard about me," he says as the bullets hit him but don't have any effect. "I'm about sick of always having to buy new clothes."
To make things even more badass, Nas’s “Made You Look" provides the teaser's soundtrack.
Naturally, fans are already freaking out.
