Ahhh the beach: the sand between your toes, the sun on your skin — and the loud woooosh and potent fumes of a jet flying directly overhead.

It's a common sensation for sunbathers at Maho Beach in St Maarten.

The small strip of sand is located just a few feet from Princess Juliana International Airport and has become a destination for beachgoers who want to feel engine exhaust while sipping a tropical cocktail.

For those craving a little rest and relaxation, but lacking the means to fly to St Maarten, the experience of plane-spotting at Maho Beach is now available in 360-degree video.
