Forget dogs; turkeys are becoming mail carriers' worst nightmare.

A flock of aggressive turkeys prompted a postmaster in Hillsdale, New Jersey to call 911 for help on Tuesday.

According to the 911 call, the turkeys surrounded the mail carrier's truck, and even attempted to bite him.

After finding a bit of comedy in the situation, the post service employee tells the 911 operator,"This has been going on. It's crazy. They were actually attacking, biting, chase the trucks -- everything."

According to ABC 7, the mail carrier was a substitute, and was not used to the wild fouls' hatred towards snail mail.

Thankfully, police were able to assist the mail carrier in scaring the turkeys away by simply walking towards them.

Neighbors say that the wild flock of turkeys is the norm, but they're not judging the mailman.
