These days you'd have an easier job sword-fighting The Mountain than you would getting any secrets out of the Game of Thrones actors.

In the early days they were apt to let a few things slip here and there, but now there's so much attention on them -- and they've clearly had so much media training -- that it's damn near impossible.

Maisie Williams is one very slight exception. In the past she's been known to drop a few clues: before the last season she dropped some hints about Jon Snow, then revealed in a radio interview that Rickon would be making a re-appearance in the show.

In the run-up to Season 7 though, even Williams has been tight-lipped.

Well, sort of. During a recent interview with The Times, she did offer up a brief clue about what might be in store for her character this season.

"Things are looking up for Arya," she said. "She gets her own way a little bit, which is nice, because she's had such a tough journey.

"But they're also bittersweet at the same time. Dot, dot, dot..."

It's not much to go on, admittedly, but it wouldn't be Game of Thrones unless we exhaustively analysed every single detail.

So first, what could "she gets her own way a little bit" mean?

Well really there are two possibilities here: 1) she crosses some more names off her list, or 2) she reunites with some of her loved ones.

It seems pretty clear from the end of Season 6 that Arya's main priority is her list, so if we had to guess we'd say Williams will be crossing a few more people off very soon. But who?

Who's left on Arya's list?

Although her list seems to have changed at different points in the show, the original (long) list included:

1. Joffrey

2. Cersei

3. Walder Frey

4. Meryn Trant

5. Tywin Lannister

6. The Red Woman

7. Beric Dondarrion

8. Thoros of Myr

9. Ilyn Payne

10. The Mountain

11. The Hound

From the snowy shots of Arya on horseback in the Season 7 trailer, it seems pretty clear she's either still in the Riverlands or moving North. So if we had to guess, we'd say she's either going to bump into the Hound again (he's now with Beric Dondarrion and Thoros of Myr and heading North too, don't forget), or The Red Woman (the last we saw of Melisandre she was riding South from Winterfell).

Conclusion

It's a stretch, but based on Williams' comments, here's our prediction: she'll get her own way by killing Melisandre, then eventually bump into the Hound and his gang (we have no idea how she'll react to seeing the Hound again, though).

The "bittersweet" bit? Either someone else she loves is going to die, or the long-awaited Stark reunion we've all been wanting won't go according to plan... (dot, dot, dot.)
