We're really really sorry for bringing these photos into your life. Look, we're not too happy about it either.

Rani Haese, a 16-year-old makeup artist from Australia, is so freakishly skilled at special effects makeup that her gory body parts will have you cringing well into November.

Raniratt uses nothing but makeup and prosthetics to create her unbelievable looks – no camera effects.

"I got into FX makeup three years ago when my school was having a dress up day for book week," Haese wrote in an email to Mashable.

"I decided I'd dress up and I went as zipper face. I ordered some cheap liquid latex on eBay and some even cheaper face paints I found it and gave it a go. I found that I really enjoyed doing that sort of makeup, so I kept going."

"Once I began doing FX makeup, I always looked up to people like freakmo, goldiestarling and pink stylist on YouTube and I always loved trying to recreate some of their makeups through watching their tutorials," Haese told Mashable.

"Once I got a bit better I tried to move on to developing my own ideas and concepts."

And just to prove that it really is all makeup and nothing dangerous, she's posted some behind-the-scenes videos.

Haese's Instagram fame seems to be paying off well for her – even though she is just 16, she has several job offers on the table.

"Recently I have been asked to do a makeup for a cover of a book that will be published soon," she told Mashable. "Also a new television show has asked me to do a makeup for them, so that will be exciting. I also have a few other smaller things, but they are still great fun."

Enjoy (or brace yourself for) some more photos of her impressive creations.

We'd wish you a happy Halloween, but if Rani is involved, you probably won't have one.

For people with a self-injurious past, these images could be triggering. For international resources, this list is a good place to start.
