LONDON -- A British man has built a proper pub in his own back garden after his father became too ill to go out to their local.
Gary Bourne converted his double garage -- fitting it out with beer taps, sofas, television screens and a dart board -- after his 73-year-old dad suffered a stroke in 2013.

Friends and neighbours regularly come round for a drink.
With its beer taps, snacks and sofas, the bar is fully functional.
"Social gatherings, great neighbours... we all get on; we all drink in there; we watch live sport; we do everything together," Bourne continued.
"It's given him a new lease of life."
