The idea of downing a flaming shot may sound sort of exciting, but -- like with many things in life -- the reality doesn't quite match up to the expectation.
Take the video below, for example. It starts with a Scottish man tentatively raising a shot glass to his mouth, and ends five seconds later with panicked yelling and someone frantically patting fire out of the guy's shirt.
