Marriage is supposed to be magical, so why not include the fantastical world of Harry Potter into a proposal?

That's what Evan Onuskaynch decided to do when proposing to his girlfriend Kelsey Davis.

To honor their time together and to make the proposal unique, Evan decided to draw a custom Marauder's Map based on the magical document from the Harry Potter series. Each location pictured is special to the couple.

The couple has been together for five years but only recently has Evan become a Harry Potter fan. His newfound fandom came about when he and Kelsey visited the Wizarding World of Harry Potter together.

He posted a photo of the final, laminated map to Reddit.

“I broke it up into four major parts of our lives: where we met, our first memories, college, and the present,” Evan told BuzzFeed.

The map includes the high school where they first met, the coffee shop where they had their first date and different spots from Penn State, which is where they both went to college.

The final destination on the map is favorite trail in Pennsylvania, which is where Evan planned to propose.

"I wanted to make sure we were located on the map exactly in the spot I would propose," he said.
