Highly relatable Twitter meme compares the start of March to its end

We may only be three months in to 2020, but it feels as though it's been three decades. March was the month that wouldn't end no matter how much we begged, the coronavirus pandemic bludgeoning us until we curled up sobbing in responsibly socially-distant corners.

Tens of thousands have lost their lives to COVID-19, and hundreds of thousands more are infected. The White House predicts the disease will kill between 100,000 to 240,000 Americans before this is over.

If that weren't enough, necessary social distancing measures have caused millions to lose their jobs as travel halts, businesses close, and a global recession looms. February wasn't easy, delivering Donald Trump's impeachment trial as well as Australia's historic bushfires.

And then there was March.

It's a phenomenally stressful time for everyone, and nobody has any clear idea when it might end. As such, a new Twitter meme has users posting highly relatable images of how they felt at the beginning of March compared to the end.

It's fair to say everyone could be doing a whole lot better.

Please, April. Be kind.
