SAVE $7.50: Amazon has a three-pack of WiZ 60W A19 LED Smart Light Bulbs on sale for just $17.49 (normally $24.99) during its Big Spring Sale. That's a 30% savings and their lowest price to date.

I was admittedly very late to the game when it comes to smart home adaptation. It's mostly because I've never loved the idea of my devices listening to me, but also because the benefits never felt worth the extra spend. Buying a new speaker or a bunch of plugs just because they featured app and voice control seemed superfluous. And then I got my orb.

Last Christmas, the Ikea FADO spherical table lamp was at the top of my wish list for a family gift exchange. I needed an alternative to The Big Light in my living room, and the FADO kept popping up in aesthetic home decor videos on my TikTok For You Page. It looked the coziest when it was glowing a warm amber, and I figured creators were achieving that with color-changing smart bulbs. So I added a WiZ A19 Color LED Smart Bulb to my wish list, too: It was rated highly for easy setup, brightness, and a wide range of color options, including dynamic presets. Most importantly, it didn't push me over the $50 gift exchange budget.

Shoutout to the brother-in-law who drew my name. After setting up my new FADO with the WiZ bulb this past winter, I'm now officially on the smart light bandwagon — nay, I'm driving that thing. Having a colorful light that I can adjust or dim from my phone is the one thing that's made the biggest different in my home decor. Is it superfluous? Probably, yeah. But the vibes in here are too immaculate for me to care anymore.

I've since added another WiZ bulb to a tripod floor lamp in the same room, and I'll probably grab a couple more of them for other lights around the house sometime this week: There's a three-pack marked down to just $17.49 on Amazon during its Big Spring Sale, which runs through Tuesday, March 31. That's 30% off its $24.99 MSRP and an exact match of its all-time low from last Black Friday, according to the Amazon price-tracking site CamelCamelCamel. (You're basically getting three bulbs for less than the price of two: They retail for $10.99 individually.)
