I’d happily pay full price for the Soundcore Space A40 earbuds, but I don't need to thanks to the Amazon Spring Sale

These budget-friendly buds cancel noise, last forever, and don’t look like budget buds.

SAVE $35: As of March 28, Soundcore by Anker Space A40 earbuds are available for $44.99 at Amazon. That’s 44% off their regular price of $79.99 during the Amazon Spring Sale.

I’ve tested enough budget earbuds to know the usual drill: decent sound, good battery life, and noise cancellation don't usually come together at a budget price point. But Soundcore Space A40 earbuds are different. Amazon has them for $44.99 right now (down from $79.99), and I honestly don’t know how they’re pulling this off.

These things reduce ambient noise by up to 98%, and the ANC adjusts independently depending on where you are. I want my tech to be smarter than me, but not in a condescending way, and these earbuds walk that fine line beautifully. The sound is also surprisingly rich — Soundcore’s dual-layer drivers make everything from podcasts to playlists sound like I have better taste than I do.

Battery life? Wild. You get 10 hours from the earbuds and 50 total with the case. And if you somehow forget to charge them (I always do), a 10-minute top-up gives you four hours of mercy listening. I think all devices should offer this kind of forgiveness.

  • Price: $44.99 $79.99 (save $35)

  • Retailer: Amazon

  • Earbud Type: In-ear, wireless

  • Battery Life: 10 hours (buds), 50 hours total with case

  • Noise Cancellation: Auto-adjusting ANC (up to 98% noise blocked)

  • Audio: Hi-Res Audio, LDAC support

  • Charging: Wireless and fast charging (10 min = 4 hrs)

  • Colors Available: Blue, Black, White, Green, Purple

  • App Support: Yes (custom EQ and controls)

Fit-wise, they’re pretty much weightless. They’re smaller than Soundcore’s older ANC models and shaped to nestle into your ears like they want to be there. I wore them through a Zoom call, a walk, and a doomscroll session without even noticing. Plus, the app lets you tweak the EQ and controls if you’re feeling fancy.

In my opinion, $44.99 is a steal for what you’re getting here. I’ve paid more for earbuds that did way less and looked like Bluetooth-era leftovers. If you’re even thinking about upgrading, this deal is a green light with fireworks.
