If you're tired of shooting on your smartphone and want to start taking your video production a little more seriously, Panasonic just dropped a deal on one of the best mirrorless cameras out there.

As of March 6, you can get the Panasonic LUMIX GH7 Mirrorless Camera for $1,797.99, down from $2,199.99, at Amazon. That's an 18% discount or $402 savings. It's also the best price we've tracked on this model (and the lowest price Amazon's listed it for in 30 days). Fair warning: As of writing, Amazon shows five left in stock, so you'll want to move fast.

Over on the r/Lumix subreddit, videographers say the GH7 is an "Underrated Cinema Camera Champion." Camera snobs love to get hung up on the fact that it uses a Micro Four Thirds sensor instead of a massive full-frame one, but real professionals couldn't care less. One user, who owns a high-end Sony Venice 2 alongside their GH7, pointed out that if you use the same lens and lighting, "you would not be able to tell the difference" between the two.

As for the actual specs, the GH7 features Apple ProRes RAW internal recording and supports 32-bit float recording (if you use the DMW-XLR2 adaptor), which is a fancy way of saying you won't have to stress about adjusting your audio levels while you're rolling. And if you're making content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube all at once, you will love the Open Gate feature — it lets you shoot in multiple aspect ratios for all platforms in a single shot.
