Mariah Carey cancels Brussels show in wake of attacks

The singer canceled Sunday's show at Forest National arena "for the safety of my fans, my band, crew and everyone involved with the tour."

Mariah Carey has canceled her upcoming show in Brussels, Belgium, in the wake of attacks that killed 31 people, and at least three suicide bombers, on Tuesday and left hundreds more injured. 

In a statement on Twitter Friday, the singer said she decided to cancel Sunday's show at Forest National arena "for the safety of my fans, my band, crew and everyone involved with the tour." She is currently touring Europe on her Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour. 

She added, "I hope to see you soon and send my prayers and eternal love, laughter and light to my fans."
