Alas, Christmas is all but done and dusted. But, Mariah Carey isn't anywhere near ready to bid farewell to her favourite time of the year.

You might recall that Mariah put up her Christmas tree back at the beginning of October. Well, she's now advocating leaving the damn thing up until July.

Ryan Seacrest—host of Live with Kelly and Ryan—popped a rather divisive question to his followers regarding the protocol for taking down a Christmas tree and its decorations.

While some of us can't wait to clear away the Crimbo clutter, others—like Mariah—want to cling onto every vestige of the season for as long as humanly possible.

Mariah replied to Seacrest's tweet with her ruling on the matter of the Christmas tree.

Looks like all Mariah wants is an all-year-round Christmas.
