Marlee Matlin knows how to handle herself with class.

New reports of Donald Trump's unsavory comments about the deaf actress and former Apprentice contestant have emerged. Trump allegedly called Matlin "retarded" while taping Season 11 of the Apprentice, according to the Daily Beast. That accusation comes a day after the Republican nominee was accused of making sexual comments about Matlin while on the show.

On Friday, Matlin joined the growing list of women speaking out against Trump.

"The term is abhorrent and should never be used," she tweeted of Trump's comment, which the Daily Beast reported was confirmed by three sources."The fact that we are talking about this during a very important moment in American history has upset me deeply.

A source told the Daily Beast that Trump insulted and mimicked the contestant while she was on the show, making fun of her voice and saying "that she was mentally retarded." During the taping of the show, a source also said, Trump used to scribble down notes while in the boardroom. On one of the notes he reportedly wrote: "Marlee, is she retarded??"

Matlin wrote that she and millions of other Deaf people face unacceptable discrimination like this on a daily basis, and rather than respond to Trump with insults, she is taking the high road.

Matlin said she will make herself heard by voting this November.
