We can all relate with going out of our way for a free drink.

But what about when Martin Shkreli is the one offering to buy?

The internet's supervillain, a pharmaceutical executive who is currently under investigation for securities fraud, took a brief break from the hot water he usually lives in to treat his "fans" to drinks at a Brooklyn bar after making a court appearance.

He tweeted his offer out to his 154,000 fans (seriously, who are these people?) at 1:15 p.m. ET on Friday.

Shkreli even Periscoped his getting ready process for court that afternoon. In the broadcast, he reaffirmed that he'd buy drinks for any fans who showed up.

However, the quaint Brooklyn Heights bar tweeted their disapproval.

So, the pharma bro turned to his followers for another suggestion, and apologized to Henry Street Ale House.

The new meet up spot, Brooklyn Public House, took advantage of the event by putting out their first two tweets ever and cheekily announcing an increase in their drink prices.

At the end of the night, Shkreli tweeted that "quite a lot of fun people" showed up.

But seriously. WHO are these people that showed up? Does anyone have photographic proof?
