The Avengers will join the Guardians of the Galaxy at Disney California Adventure for... something

Disney wants to bring more superhero action to its parks.

Avengers: Infinity War might not be the only place you'll see the Guardians rubbing shoulders with the Avengers in the near future.

Following the massive success of the Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! ride at Disney California Adventure, Disney's hinted that it's just "the beginning of an even larger superhero presence" at the park.

However, they're not explaining exactly what that means... yet.

All they'd say at D23 was that the Guardians would soon be joined by Spider-Man and the Avengers in what, Disney Parks & Resorts' Bob Chapek teased, "will become a completely immersive superhero universe at Disney California Adventure."

Hmm.

While we mull that over, though, Chapek also announced plans for an immersive superhero-themed resort: Disney's Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, to open in Disneyland Paris. Guests will get to enjoy a gallery-style showing of comic book art, costumes, props, and more.

All we want to know now is when doors will open, so we can get to booking our flights.
