Donald Trump's disparaging comments about Hillary Clinton playing the "woman card" in her bid for the White House appeared to have at least one high-profile -- and very visible -- critic.

Mary Pat Christie was not having any of it.

Her epic eye roll and painful grimace spoke volumes on what she thought about the comments as she looked on during Trump's Tuesday night victory speech in which he slammed his Democratic rival for her campaign tactics.

“Frankly, if Hillary Clinton were a man, I don't think she'd get 5% of the vote. The only thing she's got going is the women's card,” Trump said during a news conference at Trump Tower on Tuesday, after sweeping five primaries. “And the beautiful thing is, women don't like her."

The criticism is one that Trump has launched at Clinton time and time again throughout the 2016 race.

But the real-time reaction from the wife of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, which played out just over Trump's left shoulder, suggests not everyone agrees with the billionare businessman.

Clinton launched her own response at Trump on Wednesday morning.

Her campaign wasted no time cutting a video of Trump's Tuesday night comments with footage of Clinton from the campaign trail pledging her support for paid family leave and affordable healthcare.

Trump himself has struggled to resonate with women across the nation, according to several polls.

According to a March 2016 NBC/WSJ poll, 47 percent of Republican female primary voters said they could not imagine themselves voting for Trump, a notably higher rate than the 40 percent of male GOP primary voters who said the same.

In the general voting population, Trump has an even bigger problem with female voters, according to the poll. His favorability with women overall is at just 21 percent positive, and 70 percent have a negative view of him, compared to a 28 percent positive and 59 percent negative reaction from men.
