John Cena is on a roll when it comes to Mattel adaptations.

First, the wrestler-turned-actor nabbed a mermaid cameo in Barbie. Now, he's leading Matchbox The Movie, based on Mattel's toy vehicles. An Apple Original Film, Matchbox The Movie bills itself as a globe-trotting action adventure. Here's what you need to know about it.

What's Matchbox The Movie about?

Matchbox The Movie centers on a group of friends who have been close since childhood. But when their former leader Sean (Cena) pops back up in their small town, their lives are set to change. That's because Sean is an undercover CIA agent, and he's about to get his friends mixed up in an international plot to save the world. Expect cars to be involved.

Who's in Matchbox The Movie?

On top of Cena, Matchbox The Movie also stars Jessica Biel, Sam Richardson, Teyonah Parris, and Arturo Castro as Sean's buddies. The rest of the ensemble includes Corey Stoll, Bill Camp, Danai Gurira, and Golshifteh Faranhani.
