New manicure color trend gives people an unusual way to show off their nails

There are few things more satisfying than a freshly done manicure, but matching your nails perfectly to your favorite outfit is equally as delightful.

Nail art lovers on Twitter are showing off their new manis by posting photos of their fingers not matching their outfits per se, but instead coordinating with some pretty unusual accessories.

Months after Twitter user @alinamarie____ posted a photo of her nails coincidentally matching to both ham and a pink milkshake, she brought the trend back to life by holding bacon bits in her freshly manicured hand. Soon other users followed suit, showing off their nails with whatever they could get their matching manis on.
