Adorable kids dressed up as Maxine Waters for Halloween to #ReclaimTheirCandy
Democratic Congressman Maxine Waters is reaching a severely underrepresented potential pool of voters: the toddler set.
None of these kids can vote in 2018. They can however, dress up like the legendary Democratic Congresswoman and fight for their rights/candy on Halloween, as some kids chose to do this year.
Listen, some parents aren't going to hand out candy to kids on Halloween. Americans can be stingy. As Congresswoman Maxine Waters demonstrated on Capitol Hill this summer, you can't just wait around and "hope" that justice will naturally bend in your direction. You have to #ReclaimYourTime or in this case, #ReclaimYourSourPatchKids.
Last weekend, Congresswoman Waters headlined the Women's Convention in Detroit. Today, she's busy in Washington working to impeach our President and when she's done with him, Vice President Pence.
Let's hope the Congresswoman has enough time to #ReclaimSomeTwix, or if things get desperate, #ReclaimTheLornaDoones from the office vending machine.
The children of America are watching her every snack choice. They need leadership, not celery sticks.
