SINGAPORE -- This has been a long time coming.

And by this, we mean McDonald's signature Singapore's curry sauce is now yours to take home in a bottle.

The sweet, tangy and spicy condiment has been a favourite here for a decade, and goes hand-in-hand with the fast food chain's Chicken McNuggets.

Previously only available in 25.5g packets, McDonald's Singapore announced on Friday that lovers of the iconic condiment can now purchase them in 375ml bottles along with any of their extra value meals. Each bottle costs S$4.50 ($3.35), and customers are limited to four bottles in a single receipt.

Launched more than a decade ago, McDonald's Singapore curry sauce is exclusive to the country and is commonly served with any McNuggets order. Besides nuggets, Singaporeans have a fondness for using the sauce for dipping their fries and burgers too for a spicy kick.

Back in 2011, 2012 and 2014, McDonald's Singapore's fans seemingly lost the plot when stock shortages sparked rumours that the well-loved curry sauce would be discontinued.

The hashtag #RIPcurrysauce even started trending:

Fans were so devastated that McDonald's HQ had step in last year to release a statement to reassure fans that Singapore's curry sauce wasn't going anywhere.

So great news for all the McDonald's Singapore's curry sauce lovers, because it is indeed going nowhere now that that it's available in this new take-home bottle.

McDonald's says it's limited edition though, so you'd best clear out some pantry space from July 21 onwards.
