Donald Trump is angrily tweeting about U.S. women's national soccer team star Megan Rapinoe, and it's not going very well for him.

Trump's rant on Wednesday morning came in response to a comment from Megan Rapinoe on Tuesday. She was speaking in a video, likely recorded before the World Cup, that was shared by Eight by Eight magazine. Rapinoe said, "I'm not going to the fucking White House. No. I'm not going the white house. We're not gonna be invited."

But back to Trump. First of all, his original tweet didn't even tag the correct Megan Rapinoe.

Here's the correct Megan Rapinoe.

Eventually, he deleted his original tweets and corrected this error, but he left all the other nonsense the same.

Check out the glaringly racist undertones to his comments about the NBA, which has seen its championship teams refuse to visit the White House because Trump is, well, racist.

And, of course, he's also telling one of the world's best soccer players to "shut up and play," while also attacking her First Amendment right to free speech in her anthem protests. For a president, this is pretty damn glaring.

Not helping his cause: Rapinoe is an outspoken supporter of women's equality and LGBTQ rights (Rapinoe herself came out in 2012), both topics on which the Trump administration has been incredibly weak, if not outright hostile.

For what it's worth, Rapinoe has three goals for the U.S. so far in the tournament, including both goals in Monday's Round of 16 win over Spain.
