Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are honeymooning in romantic...Canada?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are full of surprises.
TMZ is reporting the newly married royal couple have decided to honeymoon in Canada, of all places. Specifically, the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta, where they'll enjoy the 6,000 square foot Outlook Cabin.
Now, let's get one thing straight: Canada is a lovely place full of lovely people. It's just not exactly the destination you expect to hear at the end of a storybook romance.
Still, the sprawling lodge looks splendid and is no stranger to royal visitors, having played host to King George VI in 1939 and Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip in 2005.
It's not yet known when exactly they'll be arriving, but you can be sure Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will don the perfect pair novelty socks for the occasion.
Perhaps the royal couple will even swing down to the bride's home state of California while they're hanging out in North America to ensure we reach peak royal frenzy.
