It was a sight that made many of us audibly gasp and shed a little tear.

The sight of Meghan Markle walking down the aisle of St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, wearing the dress that we simply couldn't wait to catch sight of.

Meghan's dress was designed by British designer Clare Waight Keller, the first female artistic director at French fashion house Givenchy, according to Kensington Palace.

Many were trying to steal a glimpse of her dress as she travelled by car to the chapel.
