Meryl Streep joins the cast of 'Only Murders in the Building'

An already star-studded cast gets even more star power.

With members of its cast ranging from Sting to Shirley MacLaine, Only Murders in the Building is no stranger to phenomenal (and occasionally unexpected) guest stars. But the murder mystery's newest addition might be its biggest yet: Meryl Streep.

That's right, Academy Award winner and living legend Meryl Streep is taking a trip to the Arconia for Season 3 of Only Murders in the Building. Streep appeared in a TikTok alongside the show's main trio of Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez. Also present were guest stars Andrea Martin, who plays Charles's love interest, Joy, and Paul Rudd, Season 3's murder victim.

Steve Martin also made the news of Streep's casting official with a tweet announcing the start of filming for Season 3:
