Mesmerizing video of this Croatian island will fill you with awe
Here's the perfect way to start your day: An absolutely stunning, five-minute timelapse video of the Croatian island Hvar.
Taken over the course of two years, it consists of some 10,000 photographs, depicting the beauty of the island in various times of day and weather conditions (think storms -- lots of storms).
Located in the southern Adriatic and known as the sunniest Croatian island (a figure of 2,726 sunny hours per year is often quoted), Hvar offers many sights to behold -- lighthouses, ancient forts, tiny villages and a jaw-dropping coastline.

To create the video, producers Mario Romulic and Drazen Stojcic took 350,000 photographs overall, some film from Hvar itself, and some from the nearby island Brač and the mountain Biokovo. We suggest you watch it in HD.
