Michelle Obama celebrated Father's Day with this precious throwback photo

"Our daughters may be older and taller now, but they’ll always be your little girls."

We might not get to see members of the Obama family every single day anymore, but that just makes every Twitter or Instagram post these days that much more special.

For Father's Day, Michelle Obama shared a touching photograph of Barack Obama, Malia, and Sasha with a message to her husband.

"Happy Father's Day," she tweeted on Sunday. "Our daughters may be older and taller now, but they’ll always be your little girls. We love you."

Barack responded to the tweet with a message about how lucky he feels to be a father. "Of all that I've done in my life, I'm most proud to be Sasha and Malia's dad," he said. "To all those lucky enough to be a dad, Happy Father's Day!"

Michelle wasn't the only celebrity to give a shoutout to the former president for Father's Day. Chance the Rapper, a fairly new dad himself, took the opportunity to let Barack know he's had a role in a lot of folks' lives over the years.

"You're a great dad to many," he wrote.

There's no use arguing there. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
