A fly landed on Mike Pence's head during the debate and it stayed there for 2 minutes
You could say Mike Pence's debate performance was pretty fly, but that's only because a literal fly was stuck to his head for what felt like an eternity.
Yes, you read that correctly. A fly landed on the Vice President's white helmet head of hair and just chilled there for a while while Pence and Sen. Kamala Harris went back and forth on stage. Perhaps it was stuck to his hairspray? Who knows. All we can say for sure is it was visible as hell.

Pence appeared to be blissfully unaware of the fly, and if he did notice he definitely didn't make any attempt to shake it off. That brave little fly squatted on Pence for a full two minutes and two seconds —a truly impressive feat. And one that everyone watching at home definitely noticed.

Joe Biden's team also took note of the unexpected debate highlight and flew to Twitter to get in on the joke. "Pitch in $5 to help this campaign fly," Biden tweeted alongside a photo of him posing with a literal fly swatter. He also tweeted a link to flywillvote.com that redirected to iwillvote.com. Dayum. Pretty fly move.
