Milk swirling around in coffee is better than latte art

It's true!

You're presumably familiar with latte art -- you know, those lovely leaves fanning out atop your espresso, or a big heart or whatever. If you're tired of latte art, though -- or you don't know how to make latte art and refuse to learn -- we'd like to endorse an alternative: pouring some milk in some regular old coffee and watching the swirly magic happen.

Honestly, it's just as pretty. And when the milk eventually settles and blends, the end result is extremely satisfying. Ever let out a long sigh at a slime video or an ornate candle carving clip? You'll love this shit.

Honestly ... you probably already do.

For some heartbreaking reason, though, milk swirl art (an unofficial title, but a good one IMO) has not received the online fame it deserves. This is a tragedy. Coffee is good, putting milk in coffee is good, and combining the two creates a work of art akin to drinkable clouds. So if milk swirl art moves you, be the change you wish to see in the world -- start posting a bunch of images of your unstirred coffee to Instagram, and maybe others will follow suit.

Wow! Truly, friends, it is the little things.
