Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown is going to be starring in and producing a new series of films based on the Enola Holmes Mysteries novels, Deadline reported Tuesday.

Brown made a deal with Legendary Entertainment to be a major part of the feature film adaptations of Nancy Springer's novel series, which follows the detective adventures of Enola Holmes, the 14-year-old kid sister of the famous fictional detective Sherlock Holmes.

Enola Holmes will be Brown's second major film role, the first being Legendary and Warner Bros.'s Godzilla sequel, Godzilla: King of Monsters coming in 2019.

The Enola Holmes Mysteries series consists of six novels published between 2006 and 2010, focusing on Enola working through several missing persons cases, including her own mother, while her brothers (of course) doubt her theories and skills. The first and fifth books of the series were both nominated for Edgar Awards.

Picturing Brown solving cases while simultaneously outsmarting her brothers sounds like the perfect direction for Brown's next steps in Hollywood. Her take-no-shit, badass attitude in the second season of Stranger Things may be a little preview into what we can expect with this Elona Holmes Mysteries movie series.
