Mini's Super Bowl ad is a star studded kiss off to labels.

Tennis super star Serena Williams, sitting atop a jet black Mini while rocking some killer leather pants, starts things off, saying with a smirk: "This is a chick car." Then soccer star Abby Wambach defiantly declares, "This is a gay car."

The parade of celebrities continues with Tony Hawk, T-Pain, and the like, pointing out other stereotypes. "This is a short man's car." "This car doesn't have street cred." "This is a cute car." "This is a single, young, professional car."

The ad ends with Oscar nominee and Taxi Driver star Harvey Keitel saying, "This car doesn't care what you call it."

And with a text overlay, Mini makes its message loud and clear: defy labels.

The ad is just one of many ads this year that have a deeper social message.

Axe, with a strikingly similar tone to Mini, will air a 30-second version of its "Find Your Magic" campaign, which — in a similar vein to Mini — encourages men to ignore societal expectations and be whoever they want to be.
