Missy Elliott's "Work It" is a classic, but it's not an easy song to cover.

It wasn't such a problem for Mary Halsey, whose rendition of the R&B track is pretty dang flawless, if you ask us.

The Rhode Island resident put on quite the performance, as per a video that was posted on her Facebook page on Jul. 30.

Halsey even nails the "ti esrever dna ti pilf, nwod gniht ym tup" bit, while holding an antler for some reason.

Halsey's performance was so good that even Elliott posted the video, proclaiming that she's discovered her "funky white sister" on Twitter.

"She straight killed 'Work It' sound effects and all," Elliott wrote. "I love it."

With more than 5 million views on the original video, Elliott obviously wasn't the only fan of Halsey's work. Can we see a cover of "Get Your Freak On" next?
