A squeamy fact you may not know about 'Wonder Woman'

Big budget movies need financing, and the Trump administration is full of deep pockets. Treasury Secretary and former Goldman Sachs banker Steve Mnuchin has a producing credit on Wonder Woman, which is a bit ironic given how few women his administration supports or elevates.

Mnuchin, a film producer since 2004, is listed as executive producer on over 30 films, including Mad Max: Fury Road, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and The Lego Movie as well as a producer on Wonder Woman. (He arguably has more experience in film production than politics.)

Ethically, he can't endorse anything he's producing, and was required to cancel his involvement with Ratpac-Dune Entertainment after joining the cabinet. However, he's still listed as a producer on Wonder Woman on imdb and openly endorsed The Lego Batman Movie in March.

Mnuchin's involvement shouldn't taint Wonder Woman, and there is some solace in knowing that any part of his finances went toward something unironically whole and inspiring. In fact, he should try to do more work like it.

Maybe he could even hire a few more women!
