Moe the bartender and San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz both know what it's like to have paper towels thrown at them.

At least, that's the message from The Simpsons, which released a video on Friday night announcing the show had raised $25,000 for the people of Puerto Rico.

Apparently, Cruz appreciated the message.

The show made an appeal for aid after the first episode of Season 29, which also got a response from Cruz. Looks like it's the start of a perfectly cromulent relationship.

Moe encouraged people to donate to several charities, including Unicef and One America Appeal, as much of Puerto Rico still doesn't have fresh water or power.
