Mom charges son $1,000 for being an 'unappreciative a**hole'

Sure, Mom will take care of you, but you'd better say thank you.

Redditor Chalipo, who is a full-time student, recently spent a 13-month stint living with his mother. But Mom wasn't satisfied with his ungrateful attitude -- so she sent him a bill.

Among the charges were a portion of the utility bills, "incidental food/sundries" and fees for cleaning the house and other chores.

But Chalipo's most notable expense? A fee of $1,000 for "being an asshole and not appreciative of [his] mother's support, financially or otherwise."

Better check your 'tude, man.

In the comments section, Chalipo insisted he'd learned from the experience. 

"This was a very effective parenting technique and it has helped me to realize what an entitled little shit I have been," he wrote. "I hope to one day be successful enough to support my family and repay her, but she doesn't expect me to."

Lesson learned.
