In case you don't know by now, America is currently experiencing a total solar eclipse, and the internet is full of jokes.

So it should come as no surprise that @NASAMoon and @NASASun, two of NASA's Twitter accounts, are also getting in on the fun on this monumental day.

The national space agency threw shade the best way it knows how: by blocking the sun. Yep, you read that right.

Let's just say @NASASun was a little offended.

And while the totality of the Internet was applauding NASA for its jokes, @daM00N_ tweeted something similar about an hour earlier.

@sun has yet to respond to @daM00N_, but we'll keep you updated.
