In 2018, GIFs have never been more prescient.

Many people rely on GIFs to express a range of emotions daily — sometimes, hourly, if we're being honest.

Currently, there are about 7 billion GIFs and stickers being used by about 500 million people daily on the first and largest GIF search engine Giphy. Suffice it to say, people love GIFs.

And while new GIFs are constantly being created, shared, and reused, there are a select few that have risen above the many others as favorites this year.
