Mother's Day is the perfect excuse for celebs to give moms a shout out

To celebrate this Mother's Day, the celebs are taking to Twitter to shout out their moms, moms in their life, and mothers around the world.

The Obamas were sure to tweet, with Barack giving Michelle and his mother-in-law a special mention, and Michelle tweeting out a throwback picture of her and her mother Marian.

Activist Malala Yousafzai who is known for her advocacy for educating women posted a touching photo of her mother.

Ariana Grande gave her mother a special shout out on Mother's Day, thanking her for being her parent, her best friend, and a brilliant example.

Chance the Rapper tweeted a message for his mom Jann and made sure to thank all the other women who've helped him grow in life.

P!nk tweeted in support of all the working mothers who are taking care of their children.

Ellen DeGeneres shared a message from what appears to be a young kid who goes by the name "B-Dude," which isn't exactly the kind of note that most mothers want to receive.

Reese Witherspoon tweeted out a GIF of her and her kids and gave a shout out to all the moms around the globe.

Ozzy Osbourne shared an old photo of himself and his wife Sharon with their three kids when they were very young.

Danny Trejo shared a Photoshopped image of himself and his "mother" to remind everyone to wish their moms a happy Mother's Day.

Mr. T was sure to give a special shout out to all kinds of moms, specifically mentioning any mothers who are homeless.

Happy Mother's Day, all!
