General election night in the UK is a long, tiring business, but that doesn't mean there aren't moments of joy too.

The joke candidates that stand purely for the pleasure of being on TV in their silly outfits, for instance.

One of these candidates is a man who goes by the name "Mr Fish Finger." He was standing in the same constituency as Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron after he managed to successfully crowdfund over £2,300 (more than enough for the £500 pledge).

Here he is reacting to his 309 votes.

After Tim Farron won the seat, Mr Fish Finger decided to make the most of his moment in the spotlight.

Totally worth it.
