Muhammad Ali's fame came from inside the boxing ring, but his legend stretched outside the ropes.
Ali didn't reserve his potent stings for boxing matches -- he playfully battled with interviewers and asserted opinions with confidence for talk show audiences. He even flexed his singing skills in a duet with Sam Cooke in 1964.
