Face-swapped Mulder and Scully could be its own 'X-file'

Face-swapping has been all the rage lately. And, so has the rebooted The X-Files. So, you know where this is going.

Twitter user Daniel Holland swapped David Duchovny's Agent Fox Mulder and Gillian Anderson's Agent Dana Scully. He claimed the results make them look just like a synth-pop band.

If The X-Files continues in the future, you'd think a face swapping monster would be right up their alley. And the combination of long, flowing hair and skyward cropped hair does seem to have a strong basis in '80s pop music.

Decide for yourself if you think sweet dreams are made of these two?

On a side note, Duchovny Photoshopped onto Anderson looks remarkably like his character Denise from Twin Peaks, a show that had its own healthy use of synth.
