This mum's wine hack has taken Twitter by storm

LONDON -- Just because you're a mum and you're on the train, that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a nice glass of wine.

Or, in the case of the mum below, a nice Lucozade bottle of wine.

Over the weekend, Saoirse from Luton, UK, shared a screengrab of a brilliant message her mum had sent her.

With over 8000 retweets and 30,000 favourites, the stealthy tactic seemed to go down well on Twitter.

The alcohol education charity Drinkaware says Transport for London has a policy that bans passengers from drinking alcohol or carrying open containers of alcohol on public transport including on buses, trams, tubes and the DLR. You can drink and buy alcohol on national trains in the UK though.

Until the stigma of drinking wine on the train gets quashed, we'll always have our 750ml Lucozade bottles.
