These Muslim women are handing out roses in the wake of a targeted attack

A group of young Muslim women have taken action against Islamophobia in the best possible way. With love.

It follows a stabbing on Monday at a train station in Forest Hill, south-east London where the attacker reportedly shouted "I want to kill Muslims".

The victim was taken to the hospital where he remains in serious, but not life-threatening, condition.

Even before the Brexit vote, anti-Muslim incidents rose by 326% in the space of a year, according to a report from the group Tell Mama.

One of the women, Iysha, announced the flower initiative on Twitter:
